She slept almost the entire ride. Then, she went straight to bed when we arrived, with her mother staying with her while Wendy and I took the others on a brief tour of Nanchang, followed by dinner.

While Katie and Mom stayed back at the hotel, we took a ride to the old hotel that we had at which we stayed ...

... reach the park by car and there are several roadways within the park. The park’s main feature is a largish reservoir (I think, man-made at any rate) that is the fishing area for several types of birds, especially egrets and herons. Apparently the best time to see the birds is about an hour before dusk. We were there too early (and after a long day of hiking, too tired to wait) to see them, but ...

... on my face for the entire hike. Back in Yushan, I grabbed another cheap dinner at the restaurant from las night, this time enjoying some fried noodles with various vegetables. I went back to the hotel for a quick shower, grabbed my bag, and took a motorcycle tricycle taxi (it was as funny as it sounds) to the train station. I needed a ticket from Yushan to Shangrao, where the train I booked yesterday would depart from. After a bit of confusion, the station attendants ...
