    I stayed in Nana and Gebu's house and, with their permission, am writing about the Membas through the experience of living with this amazingly warm family.

    This morning we woke up and boarded our airport bus at 5am to get to the Chengdu airport. Since we were heading to Lhasa, security was expected to be very tight and lengthy.
