... of storage space! Compared to my lovely room in the dungeons of Uhall last year, this room seems like paradise. It even has a private washroom, and mine is almost as big as the spacious room itself! Unfortunately, the shower doesn't have a door and is level with the bathroom floor, meaning my bathroom floods whenever I shower. This is not typical, so I wonder if I had come earlier if I would have got a better room? Also, my room fronts on to a noisy road with bars all around. It is ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy bronwhyn... Innsbruck. At least this time I was not awoken from sleep and asked where my passport was. Ha ha ha!

The Innsbruck, Austria area has some of the most beautiful scenery around. Lush rolling hills, quaint old villages and some huge crazy modern bridges. I think it would be great to rent a car and travel around this area. Yet another trip to plan! If I win that SuperEnalotto…… I guess I can do pretty much anything I want!
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy monkeytoes... out, more beer, and lots and lots of chanting. Chanting about Giants players, chanting Super Bowl, a chant that says anyone who isn’t jumping is from Bergamo while we all make like pogo-sticks, a rather crass chant about a girl with red hair which I don’t fully understand, and my personal favorite which was said in English (and just remember that ‘basta’ means stop) “Ain’t no party like a Bergamo party because a Bergamo ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... yes, he played as *************e on game day and battled through injuries, but anyone can get inspired on game day. Everyone wants to play when the lights are on and the bleachers are full. Players that are truly dedicated are the ones who are getting after it in the weight room in March, out on the field running in the heat of the summer when no one else is paying attention, who know their job in the playbook and everyone elses.

I busted my ass for 10 ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... the game.

I'm excited to play Bergamo. I refuse to get caught up in their mystique. I don't think they are a very goodfootball team and I absolutely want to embarrass them offensively.

Once the game was out of hand, someone hung a banner thatsaid "Tutti a Bolzano." Everyoneto Bolzano. When the game endedthey started to chant that and Ciba joined in the chant standing out with hisblue Bolzano Giants jacket on.

We got back to Tisma's ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... we bought an expresso in a bar the barman asked for money in Italian and thanked us in German.... then spoke to the next man in French? At least that's what it sounded like. So.... I'm going to stick with my stupid tourist look and a big smile. I get a lot of milege out of that!
We learned a lot about the politics here, and about the wildlife (somehow that seems to be related).
All good things must come to an end so ...

Of course anything out of place draws looks, so you turn a few headsriding down the street in this manor.

Ciba had to go down with the Arena team to a game in Ferrara(not spelled right), so Christina and I spent the afternoon soaking up the sunat the pool. It costs five euros, but is a very impressive setup. There are three large pools of varying depths, slides, a whirlpool, awading pool, and plenty of grass to lie out on.

We sunned and talked ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... asking him to borrow a euro so I could catch the bus back home. I got home and slept for the large majority of Monday afternoon. I wish I had the foresight of my Mother, but I don't. Before Lauren and Mike came out, I had a solid social network of Italians put together and my days out here in Bolzano were fairly full of various social engagements. That network fell apart however as my American visitors came out and we roamed Italy together. I don't want to give the ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... made a fine play and dove in front for the interception. I was miffed. I jogged to the sideline and Tisma tells me that next time he won't say anything next time. Talk about getting jinxed. I was upset though, we should be up 21, but instead it was on 6-0 (they blocked our first PAT). Lazio scored then scored again with 2 minutes left in the half, suddenly we were down 14-6. A couple passes later we had the ball on Lazio's 35 with ...
Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy mavsqb1... ready, lets go to Rome. I started chatting and Jeff mentioned that I need to validate my ticket before getting on the train. He made a good point and I started rustling through my backpack to get out the ticket. I did not find the ticket where I left it so I dug a little deeper but still no ticket. A deep sinking feeling and a cold sweat ran over me as I scanned my memory to find the moment where I misplaced the ticket. I remembered taking it ...
