    Friday 21 August Beijing

We attempt to sleep through morning noise at the hostel, not extreme, but enough to make it difficult to get back to sleep, and are up by about 9 AM local time. Dianne does some wi-fi related chores, a young woman from Singapore at the same table asks if she ...

Also the mall was aimed for a little older cliental than the average teenager. So many of our students ended up walking around the shops around the mall and finding other things they liked more. The chaperones took a chance to get something a bit ...

The kids had their own day out with their Chinese counterparts so unfortunately I don't have any stories from them. But from what I have gathered we had kids go swimming, go to KFC, make dumplings and a whole slew of different things. The kids all had a great time and many of them said it was their best day yet.

Teachers went for a big lunch with the school teachers and then went to take a rest.

The afternoon was spent in the Tai'an mall which can be said ...
