... lunch. It was so handy having a fully decked our kitchen complete with oven, microwave, cutlery, plates, fridge and freezer. We heated it up a bit more to kill off any Chinese bugs and sat down to our little lunch smorgasbord. After lunch we went for, what was becoming, our regular afternoon swim. We had planned to walk to the Canton tower at night to see it all lit up but in the early evening there was a massive thunderstorm. There was huge amounts of lightning and thunder ...

... for a little bit and then we found Subway! We found our dinner! Attached to the Subway was a convenience store. They sold a big bottle of beer for only ¥5! That's less than $1. Heck yes. We got a map, found where we were supposed to go and took ...

Mia thought she was in heaven when we arrived at a corner that had McDonalds on 2 different corners. Our guide took us to a Dim Sum restaurant that ...

... On Fri I didn't have to be at school until the evening, so we went in and had a look round the Chen Clan Academy which really impressed me on my first visit. There was a man doing traditional style painting on special paper, and he was keen for us to have a go, using all his English words to tell us so! He was very friendly, and when we declined his offer he gave us some of the special paper anyway.

... place. The 3 buildings we were looking at were new and had been donated by 3 different real estate developers. Our next stop was the old part of the campus. This we were familiar with...The courtyard that we have pictures of Hannah as a baby and the famous, in my mind, statues. We walked around the courtyard and got a picture of Hannah to match the picture of her as a baby, except she is 4.5 feet taller. We then went into the building where Hannah stayed. It looks ...
