        As we rode past the pier on our way home we saw that the area was abuzz with activity, the excitement was palpable. It struck us that tonight was the full moon party on Koh Phangan. Once a month, or thereabouts, at full moon, people flock from all over the world to this party spot to have copious amounts of alcohol and fun at this all-night beach party.         ... finishing dinner it started raining which rapidly turned to a storm so remembering our washing was hanging on the balcony, we ran back to the hotel just in time to save most of our clothes.
        Sadly my super new trousers were not amongst the saved clothes so I shall have to find a replacement pair ASAP!!
        The storm continued so we had a little lie down while we were waiting for it to stop but when we woke at 7am we realised we had taken more than a little nap! ...

        ... some errands trying to book our ticket to the mainland and onward to Malaysia in a few days time. Our Thai visas run out on 4th December so it was quite an important that we got that ticket booked. Unfortunately we returned to Lucky without tickets and agreed we would try a different part of the island in the hope someone would know what to do.
