      ... they failed to tell me was the Central Bus Station in Kuantan is certainly not central! Another local bus then took me to Kuantan local bus station where I had researched that you could bribe a bus ride to the junction to Cherating on a coach going in that direction as there are no buses go there. After 2.5 hours of being told one will be here in 15 mins, I gave up because I was melting and forming a puddle on the concrete! Taxi ride saved me 20 ...

      ... presence of the man because he was totally unfriendly. We asked him about the Shivan temple and he pointed at the steps and said that we should go up further. Sheelan then told him that he has a back problem and asked if its conducive for (sheelan) to go up there and he bluntly replied that Sheelan should not attempt to go futher. We chose to ignore him (big mistake) and proceeded to climb the steps. I ran up faster to survey the environment and path… ...

      Aaaaargh! Such a long drive! Had no more gas, it rained bad, most of the
      trip was in the mountains (which means mountain roads but beautiful)
      and missed the exit to Kuantan. I was on the road for already 10 hours
      so I decided to go to my next step directly which is: Cherating!
