    Kuantan was a nice getaway from city life. It was still pretty busy with lots to do, but it was less intense than a larger metropolis. The trip began with a three hour bus ride from Kuala Lumpur. Actually, it began with a very slow subway ride followed by a woman telling us we were at the wrong bus station. Looking around, we couldn't have been more confused.     ... on the whole beach served some very nice drinks inside of a coconut. We made good use of the hotel pool as well :) We did catch a few sights, including a sea turtle sanctuary which was quite nice. We also found a horsehoe crab on the beach, wow! Now we are reurning to KL. We have two days or so, plenty of time to eat tasty peanut satay and look at the Petronas Towers ...

    ... stop was to some Quails. The Quails were so cute and they ate seed out of your hand, they ticked with their little beaks. I think I fed them too much though as they were nto hungry when it was Anthony’s go and he only got to feed one of them. After the cute quails we headed pass some birds.
