Shahpura House has great service, great rooms, wonderful breakfast, roof top restaurant. A house with history and helpful team. After a crazy day in the Pink City I love to sit near the pool, or sit on my balcony like a Maharani.

I fell in love with the place on arrival. Imaculate first class service, welcoming. Though I booked a room with a view sort of speak. Due to a techincal problem the room I should have got was not availble. I was given a little room for one night. Working in hotels and the industry I know it can happen that mechanic and issue can happen.. The next day I was put into a beautiful room that were my favourite colours.. I felt like a Maharani. Everyone went beyond and above helpful. ...My laptop crashed and they kindly tried to repair it. Like most places in India there are crowds, people noise.. which is okay but I w anted to come back to a little quite heaven.. and it was here. The details of the art work, flowers, rooms is just perfect. The pool area is beautiful with a mesh covering it against pigeons. Eric who will great you was very attentive..... I looked foward every evening to relaxing in my room, near the pool and in the restaurant upstairs or just in my lovely bathtub with bubbles.. Can"t wait to get back again

You can feel intimidated at times but we have never experienced any hostility towards us and the usual question, apart from the beggars, is 'Where are you from?' and when 'England' is the reply they then always inform you how nice our country and our people ...

... located but it is an oasis in a busy city of three million people. Its rooms were beautifully decorated with antiques and art, and there is an amazing reading room situated on the second floor. It is the Indian equivalent of a B & B. If you're ever in this city I urge you to stay here. On our second morning there we met a doctor from northern England who had done numerous tours of duty in Afghanistan but who was now living in the UAE working for ...

Today we headed out to look at shops, attractions & some spa treatments.
First up we checked out Hawa Mahal.
This is a building for the female royalty to watch parades etc. it is about 5-6 stories high & not very wide. Quite interesting.
We checked out Central Park nothing much there except a large flags of India. This park is designed the same as Central Park in London.
Next we went to two brand name shopping ...

Got up late because we had the afternoon shift at the orphanage, by late i mean 8:30. So technically at home it would still be quite early. Did washing/read a little, Lazy morning. Had lunch then got ready to be picked up for orphanage and as usual because its india it was a 3pm pick up not 2pm. While we were waiting Pranay rang upstairs and told me he wanted to see me....ominous. So I went downstairs and I was told to sit down and that he needed my skills. My ...
