The light is operated by the Coast Guard so that part is off limits but there is a small lookout at the top of the house. One can see Connecticut across the bay.

... as we had to see Yale. We arrived there and fed the parking meter for 1 hr. Unfortunately it was a 10 min walk to the start of Yale so we only saw the library that jess told us to see and other buildings on our walk. It was stunning architecture and I loved the feel of the university campus. Had to walk quickly back to the car, and luckily wasn't booked. We were only 5 mins late. We have lived the Hampton Experience over the past two days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. This place is like nothing on earth. Had a nice relaxing stay at Mystic, except poor Ed had to pay a couple of visits to the Dentist. All good, he is brand new again. Spent our time here catching up on paperwork etc., to get things in order to ship our Motorhome back to NZ in early February. After spending a few months there it will then be shipped to Oz.
