... they check bags and run the metal detector over you, we all get a free game book and red glow stick. There were a massive amount of people flooding into the arena, we made our way up to the 2nd level and got some dinner, there was heaps of stuff to choose from but we felt like hotdogs while watching the basketball, plus they were cheap. ... forth again. This loop took us to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens which was one of the places we wanted to visit so here we alighted. Vizcaya is an amazing reproduction of a Roman villa and gardens built in the early days of Miami but a wealthy industrialist. ... and dinner. During dinner at a great Italian restaurant we had a wild downpour; we stayed outside at our table in good cover and enjoyed the heat and humidity.

I think it will be a fairly early evening, as we are going to tour South Beach tomorrow.

It was about 31 when we arrived ...quite a change from both Calgary and Toronto, as it snowed there lightly this morning before we took off.

... because I had to keep doing what the machine told me, which was to hold my breath, while a 'warm flush' went through my body - I felt like I was suffocating! It definitely took a few minutes, not a few seconds. After this, all I had to do was wait to see what the results were. Luckily, they came back saying I had no blood clot or collapsed lung or anything, which was such a relief. My diagnosis was 'heart pounding', which really doesn't help much! I guess this ...
