... from the grill, Caribbean music playing and people dancing like there's no tomorrow. Unfortunatley it started to rain. And when it rains in the Caribbean it doesn't mess about. I mean, it's like sheets of water that pour from the sky. And then it is normally done within ten minutes and stops as quickly as it arrived... without any warning. But it didn't this time, it just kept on going so we took our food back to the apartment.

Left Fort Lauderdale, drove down into Miami beach to check into one of USA's best Hostels. Famous for it's parties, we also booked ourselves on to the evenings night-activities including free happy hour cocktails followed by a trip to one of Miami's most famous clubs. ... tried on hats, browsed through handcrafted jewelry and bought more key hangers. When we were enjoying some tiramisu and mango ice cream on a spot next to the water, the most incredible thing happened: not just boats were passing by, but a group of dolphins swam and jumped right in front of us!! ... our cruise ID numbers. So we had to go down to the shore excursion desk in the lobby to book it. We also stopped at guest services to get a deck plan of the ship. Much better!

... the bar out the front had been voted the best for "model watching". It turned out they did great buffalo wings too! Our first night we went for a stroll down the Lincoln Mall. Jess was in shopping heaven, but she proved she had a strong will and was able to restrain herself.
