... was owned by a king but was accidentally destroyed by a fire in the 1600s. The restoration of the castle is truly magnificent. The architect who oversaw the project was inspired.

Our last night in Denmark we spent dining on the beachside watching the yachts return to the harbour and the moon rise across the sea. This must truly be the most beautiful place in Denmark. ...

Check-in goes through with no problems and on the plane I get a window-seat and a free seat next to me. Nice.
On the 11 hour flight I do not get any sleep but ...

55km ride today. It would have been a great ride except for the weather! We passed through the grounds of a castle that, had we not been soaking wet, would have made a lovely picnic spot. During today's ride we have experienced rain, sunshine, hailstones and wind! Along with the weather I had a flat tire and I misjudged a curb and came off my bike at some speed! Very pleased to get to tonight's ...
