    ... to have more time in Odense to cycle and test out the infrastructure, as well as experience the car driver and cyclist relationship.

    After the guided bike ride, we proceeded to bike through the Odense Zoo. Although it was just through the backway, we saw the sweetest baby tiger siblings as well as their mom/dad. Baby megafauna are probably the cutest things alive. I decided today that I will get a baby tiger and bike it around in my basket. YES, BEST IDEA EVER.

They are also adding student dormitories in the heart of the city, where housing prices would be most expensive. Students receive this student housing for a fraction of the market price, thereby encouraging them to live locally.     ... the last few years. It was amazing that they were able to fully change a throughway in the middle of their city center from a large highway to a slow bike/ped/bus only street. I can't imagine a project like that happening in the states. Riding in Odense was interesting... they did have some nice seperated curbed bike lanes but the system is far from complete.
