          I didn't mention that we learned that the word "Volvo" means "to Roll" in latin. The name was originally owned my a ball bearing company that partnered with a car company.

          ... that cater for truckies and the general public - think the Papakura one on the southern motorway, but much bigger.
          Apart from the sign we wouldn't have known we had crossed into Denmark and northern Europe, although the car's external temp gauge was telling us we had got a reasonable way north as it was only 19 degrees despite being a nice sunny day.

          ... s a lot of money to be invested into ONE city. I would like to come back and visit in 2022 and see how much has changed. It was interesting that Odense was Denmark's first cycling city--I thought Copenhagen was the initial pioneer. When we were riding in the city, we were honked at about four different times.           Biked to Odense today, and had an interesting discussion with city officials. The government here sets very ambitious targets, however they actually seem achievable. A top priority is trying to make the city friendly to all modes of transportation, but with an emphasis on cycling and public transport.
