... Eye" spotted a black bear just up the hill and to the left of the road. He was foraging among the grasses and brush there and not at all interested in us. We watched him for a bit and succeeded in getting a good frontal shot of him. A rare treat for us, to see a bear. It has been a number of years since a Bruin has been in our sight.
