... the good life, if you live it.

Lynn showed up shortly before dinner. We got unpacked and had a meal of home made BLTs which really hit the spot.

Today, Thursday is Jam Makin' Day. We'll make about two gallons of Raspberry Jam, our specialty. It's a good workout, but well worth the effort. If you've tasted it, I'm sure that you'll agree...

... the navigator included) were bubbling up a mutiny. The Machine wanted to press on. In and out of spotty cell coverage, I was able to find a campground that wasn't too far off the main road (90W) outside of Butte, Montana. I passed on one place that listed their rules on the website, and the rules included: No liquor in playground, only in campsite. No sleeping in restrooms. Tomorrow, Thursday, after Lisa and I have our weekly visit and I have another "skiers breakfast," I plan to take another route to the campground and do some serious skiing. Serious, as in not telling any jokes, if you get my meaning.

... relieve those who have already begun to complain. Since we travel south each winter to seek such a clime, we do love it. Pour it on!

I put a potpourri of photos up on Flickr this evening. Most are of Lynn's flowers, but there's a couple of a doe deer with twins in the neighbor's yard and a couple from here.

Our daughter, Lisa, her husband Rich, and others will be here later in the week, so I'll be posting more later.

Today is the first day of our run to Nebraska, for our Granddaughter's (Justine's) wedding. The views would have been great, except for all of the fires; there was so much smoke that you could not see the mountains. You can see by the flags the wind was blowing pretty hard too.
