    Well we made the 5 hour drive into Slovenia, crossing a few borders to get here. A pretty country to drive through but OMG we were in for a surprise!!

    Tyshia and I arrived at the train station safely in Trieste. It was shockingly hot in Trieste, similar to Texas weather, in the 90's!     ... I just want one but he says no and indicates that I must have all of the pieces that are strung together. I say no to garlic but I am sure we can use the chillies.     ... thru 4 tunnels and into Pompeii. Guided 2 hour walking tour of the ruins of Pompeii city destroyed by Mt Vesuvius eruption in Oct 79 AD. Wow in tour only covered about 20% of city as so massive. Had population of 15,000 thousand people within city walls and sea came right to city walls. The sea around 10 km away now.
