Arrived back to Zagreb from Plitvice to be greeted by rather cold weather. Bus ride was ok. My apartment for the night is ok, but lacks wifi.

A short walk to the bus station to take the bus to Trieste, Italy. This bus has wifi, so i doubt if i will get bored. The scenery is nice and green all the way across Croatia, into Slovenia and then Italy. We arrive in Trieste at 3.15pm, and its a 2k walk to where i am staying. ... Slovenian drivers. Don't get me wrong, they seem nice enough but... This is the kind of situation which freaked me out last year. And I have no credit on my phone. Arrrgggghh. I'm sure it'll be fine - they say I have to switch buses at Sezana which is just over the border, so hopefully there will be more travellers / women / people in general there. Anyone will do at this stage. They are playing Radio 1 though, touch. ---- 17:24. Well at least ...

A very wet day as forecast so very glad we got the long journey out the way yesterday as the sea state looks very choppy today. After a trip to the airport to clear in and become legal we take a hire car and head to Grada. An old town in the flats that we had thought about sailing to but given the weather we thought better to go by road! A tour of Monfalcone followed and we managed to get an Italian sim so we have wifi ...
