Monaco: The best of it all in one little country
... floating in a beautiful, serene place lost to time.
Our dinner at VistaMar in the Hermitage Hotel (One of Monte Carlo/Monaco's top 10 restaurants) was complete with foie gras, sea bass, lamb, chocolate fondant and Grand Marnier Souffle... a perfect ending to an amazing meal. We finished the night in a small club cut into the side of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean.

Day 16 - The Monte Carlo
... just incase you missed that try have both now blown €25 on failure) Todd made money though he made €35 not knowing really what was happening and annoying a lady who had thousands on the table in chips. Todd and I made a dance to rub in our victory and meg and jake both have to deal with the guilt of wasting there money. It was an awesome experience and we learnt that jake has issues with gambling ( I had to drag him away literally :)) ...
We return to the ancestral manse
... cars following a resident get bounced into the air as the cylinder reemerged from the hole in the pavement with a pneumatic hiss. The car’s undercarriage was pinned and the front of the car was held aloft in a humiliating display for all to see. Eventually the police would appear and make the cylinder retreat back into its hole, and sometimes a tow truck had to be called to drag away the car.

Nice, Cannes & Monaco
Nice - Cannes - Monaco - 31/5/12 - 3/6/12 As Kath and Kym would say, it's nooice! The hostel /2 star hotel bathroom had a portal. Not a space time portal or one to another dimension, but one that carried strange smells and conversations into it from other bathrooms. ... I set off to explore the old city again. We also went along the waterfront and you can see a couple of pictures of Steve and I trying to decide which boat to buy. We also had the opportunity to watch a bit of the French Ironman competition. Some of the competitors had been staying in our hotel and we chatted with them yesterday.
