Penis Cola... hehehe!!!

... before we had some good giggles!

2nd

Kim and I went for a run this morning and left Val with Scooby and all our gear – made for an easier run for me today! Took Kim awhile to warm up but once she did she set a good pace and we managed about 8km. Back at Scooby Val had made friends with council workers that were tidying up the van area and a few of our neighbors.

Flamin' Flamingos

... rice. We found the flamingos and they were about 30-40 m away from the road so out with the binoculars to get a better look. Such elegant birds and when they lift their wings the underside is bright pink – very pretty. We stopped at a few more look outs where we saw herons, stalks and lots of different types of ducks. At one look out we were reading ...

Not much to say

This town was really in the middle of nowhere. There was a huge windstorm and the town was super dead, except for a bunch of seniors at the bar down by the beach. We hung out there to use their internet and to watch an episode of Frasier in english. Not our most exciting day. We tried to rent mountain bikes at our resort but they had put them away for the winter... it was like 20 degrees out!

Day 33 - Dealing with the police again.

Normally you wake up on a beach because of the warm morning sun. Not in Peniscola. Not in Peniscola. I woke up because some absolutely butters spanish chick was shouting at me. Honestly, its just rude. Soon the other guys woke up and were trying to stop the two girls getting on the Jetski. Then they stole one of Ollys biscuits ...

Day 32 - The good, the bad, and the Spanish

... which was incredibly cheap (glass bottle of wine for 60 cents!). This is shocking I know. More shocking was the man in the supermarket who was holding a 15ft snake. This actually reminds me of another life lesson, don´t make eye contact with mental spanish people. Whilst we were in the shop someone obviously thought Olly was homeless because they gace him two peaches and a Euro. Everybody here thinks we are French ...

Day 31 - Damn Spanish and their damn 4 hour siesta

Waking up under a rat infested ***** bridge to the sound of thousands of peoples footsteps is great. Especially when you can´t find a toilet. We cycled for hours and couldnt get lunch because of a damn four hour lunch time siesta. We litterally had to eat seeds to give us the energy to get to the next town.

Arriving at a beach in Deltebre we played a game ...

Gold Coast on steroids

... paintings at some time in the past. We did have the slide show (in French with English subtitles) and a tour (in French but we were provided with an English pamphlet which we tried to memorise because it´s dark in caves and you can´t read in them). As the group went into the cave single file we were asked to go to the rear because if we didn´t hear her from up the front it wouldn´t matter because we couldn´t understand it anyway. Fair enough but the nerve, the tour would be in German ...
