      ... crystal shop. Swarovski is actually an Austrian brand which I was not aware. The shop we went to is not where it originated but it is now the largest European Swarovski store. It was amazing the things they had in there. I did buy myself a bracelet that was relatively cheap.       ... the lake and that was enough, it was lunch time so we walked back towards the subway we have used. Next to the park a few streets away we picked a small but busy restaurant.       Garmisch Few train trips now and that is main reason for such little posting. Today we are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Southern Alps. It is not too far from Munich and we can do an about trip in a day. This year the snow is light compared to previous visits.       From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

      We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.
