    Hanoi shopping

... and of similar quality. Trouble is once you realise chances are you wont be able to find your way back to the shop as old Hanoi is a maze. Every street blends in with the next. This is part of the appeal but also the reason for rampant disorientation is rampant, especially day one and two. The good news is that the people are only too willing to help. After the first night in Kuala Lumpur, we went to do the essential "tourist sites" here in KL. This involved the Petronas Towers, the Batu Caves and lots of time spent on their very good metro! Since the main and back straights are virtually parallel you could run across to see the car on both if you wanted to. I'd heard a lot about the noise being different and Hayden said it was much quieter than last year. ************e was wearing ear plugs. With the sound going through the ground stand it was plenty loud enough for me. I admit I got pretty excited when the cars started exiting ...

Last Friday we arrived at Noni & Michael's top floor apartment (24th floor) after the taxi driver got lost due to Michael giving us the address with an error in it!! The taxi driver took it in good humour and accepted the challenge of getting us to our destination, fortunately we were on a fixed payment arranged at the airport. The apartment is about 45 mins out of KL (Kuala Lumpur stands for muddy estuary) next to the International Medical University where ...
