        ... accurately, alleys, twist & turn every 10 m apparently to fool the pirates. It was quite windy & coolish so we returned to the waterfront & had another drink & a plate of the best fried squid that we have ever tasted. Luckily for us the wi-fi worked well so we all caught up on correspondence etc.

        At about 6.30 we returned to the ship & were in bed by about 9pm after a pretty lazy ...

        ... of us decided to head back to the ship as the wind was almost intolerable, especially along the coastline as we walked back to the bus terminal. We could have had dinner at a Mykonos restaurant, but decided to return to the ship for wind and chill reasons, also I didn't want my health to deteriorate. Pity that we didn't have longer on this Island which seems to be so beautiful, except for the winds! Better some time than none.

        ... it's really been screaming. I'm hoping it's nothing permanent.

        Athens is alive tonight due to the referendum (spoiler: the OXIs have it). It's a crazy, energetic atmosphere. It's Carnaval with more nationalism. It's a circus. I stopped by the parliament building to watch the changing of the guard. Security was tight, perhaps for no need: the large crowd was quiet, well-behaved, and applauded enthusiastically when the ceremony finished.

        ... one of those that go around in a loop, it comes straight out so that if you aren't standing there to pull your bag off, it would roll straight off the belt onto the floor and start piling up. Too funny.
