... it was monday, and of course museums are closed. a major storm also came in and the scaffolding in front of a construction site that i had just walked past was now blown over and flapping in the wind. lucky me for narrowly escaping death!

for the most part, the old historic part of town was pretty dead as it is the end of tourist season, but i was able to check out the harbour, Hadrian's gate, and a few other sites.

I'm in the bus staion or ''Otogar''. It's not very exciting really. In fact, it's so unexciting that I'm writing this. Overnight bus to Göreme in half an hour. The internet in this place wont let you go on youtube and doesn't have flash so you can't watch the news on BBC. Still there is an internet cafe in a bus station so I suppose that is quite exciting.
