Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands ashstmartin... However, it was much easier to find with Spanish women - I just have to buy a plane ticket to see it again. But with Emma, the only way I could find that type of beauty is to build a time machine and go to 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, or 1960s Australia! <br>Emma and I never did find that gelato tonight ... but hopefully she is one of those people I've met on my travels that I do end up seeing again, and maybe when I do, we can finally have that gelato, and compare where we are at in our 10-year plans.
Montserrat, Catalonia, Spain pwong... to repeat our stop in at "Pizza & Love" below our apartment, but as we walk towards home, Janice spots a Mexican restaurant that sounds really good to us both ... and lo' and behold, Samuel too! ("YES!", with fist pump, as Samuel has taken to doing recently...). We head in and share Nachos, Quesadilla, a Chicken Burrito and some beans and rice. Its wonderful to taste food that reminds us of the type we eat back home. We end the night by me walking to a nearby upscale ...
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands styrsky... will have something like 18 spires, with a huge spire in the middle representing jesus and the cross. the details are so intricate, its crazily beautiful, although covered in scaffolding and surrounded by cranes. I spent 2 and a half hours there just trying to take in all the detail, and then wandering through the museum housed underneath it. well worth the 10€ entry fee. Later in the avo i headed back through the streets to one of the citys parks, which i hung out in ...
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands lovin_apples... it was 80 percent alcohol...need I say more? Our hostel is great- it´s very clean, the people are great, and it´s a two to five minute walk from the beach, the gothic quarter, and all the shopping. The shopping here is extremely tempting except that we have no room to carry things around. Everything is very arsy and colorful. Mom (kayti), you would love it. Hope everything is great with you all and that you are enjoying your summer!
Barcelona, Spain and Canary Islands aliciabrandon... rakennuksissaan todella paljon vareja ja muotoja. En oikein osaa verrata sita tyylia mihinkaan. Nalan yllattaessa hyppasimme bussiin ja livistimme puistosta. Ilta kului hostellin baarissa jutellen muille matkaajille. Myohemmin kavimme viela katsastamassa meiningin La Ramblalla (Barcelonan Champs-Elysee) Mahdoton meininki.
Barcelona, Spain jonikiiskinen... all "Mes que en club." I signed both Alec and myself up for memberships. For reasons unknown, my application and credit card fee never went through, but Alec's did. The necessary documents arrived at my office in Pennsylvania, got scanned and e-mailed to me in Italy, signed, scanned, and e-mailed back, with Alec's picture (in full Barca team kit) sent in JPG format. As we waited for the membership card to arrive, one game after another went by. We were ...
Barcelona, Spain oneyearaway... of our rotten weather today with a bus tour around the city. After touring inside La Sagrada Familia, the bus whisked us around. Lindsay and I got off to touch the Mediterranean. A wave soaked her pants so two wet girls wandered around the rest of the day - being cold and wet was kind of a theme in this city. I met up with Matt and Alex for our last ...
Barcelona, Spain jilliangwen... are kind of cool, until you actually have to sleep..I personally woke up quite a bit, so I am hoping to nap before our first venture in the city. Our hotel is right on Las Ramblas, the main street in the city which is very nice. Weather is beautiful, we will update again soon to tell you more!
Barcelona, Spain kris1331... but it made me feel really cool to be there. The stadium was huge and reminded me of running track back in high school, only on a slightly smaller scale of course. The pool wasn´t´as big as I would have expected, but it wasn´t the one where the diving took place I don´t think, so I missed seeing that. The downside of the whole park though, was that however great all those facilities are, and how amazing I can only imagine the place being back in the day, it ...
