You`ll never walk alone

... church designed by Gotti that looks like a huge sand drip castle... pretty incredible!!) After seeing many of the sights on the North part of town we made our way over to the beach and posted up their till the sun went down and we got hungry. Getting as clean and shaped up as we could (harder than it sounds... Ricky hasn't shaved in 4 weeks) we found a recommend restaurant and enjoyed a long drawn out dinner. With a few new friends in our crew we ...

... to repeat our stop in at "Pizza & Love" below our apartment, but as we walk towards home, Janice spots a Mexican restaurant that sounds really good to us both ... and lo' and behold, Samuel too! ("YES!", with fist pump, as Samuel has taken to doing recently...). We head in and share Nachos, Quesadilla, a Chicken Burrito and some beans and rice. Its wonderful to taste food that reminds us of the type we eat back home. We end the night by me walking to a nearby upscale ...

... that look like the gingerbread houses out of hansel and gretel. The area was originally designed to be a self-contained community, but it sort of flopped, and is now a beautiful public park.We spent a couple of hours handing out, there as a guy playing spanish guitar in a huge undercover area which made for some good chillout time, before we headed back to have a late lunch and wandered past some appartments that he had built in his same artistic style. I didnt bother ...

... amazing art and it´s really a part of the culture and scenery here. Also, the Montana graffiti shop is located here (for those of you who don´t know, Montana creates some of the top-line spray paint for graffiti). We´ve also met some great people here. Yesterday after walking the beach we stopped at a bar for happy hour and got cocktails with two British guys. They came down here four years ago from London and decided to never ...

... sure bet to properly locate yourself. (that grammar sounds awkward, but it made sense in Spanish!)

Because it is New Years Day, not much is open, so I am content to find myself a simple meal in a shop and then hang out in the hostel with interesting people. (Each night it seemed like a different nationality took over the hostel…first it was Aussies, next Frenchies, then Italians, then Germans, and finally Brasilians (yippee) ) I enjoyed the ...

... annoyed by tehe laziness of Eto'o and Ronaldinho. For all the plaudits they have, it was annoying seeming them just wander around doing not a lot! Ah well, at least I can say that I've seen them live! We walked back from the game as the crowds made it pointless to get a cab. We then hit a rally nice restaurant for dinner just off Plaza de Real. Just as we started to eat Fraser had to bail. The guilty party pleaded guilty to a dodgy hotdog (that we ...

... Stop or I will shoot. - Shawty = dear/honey - ballin ass playa = a very successful person. The Swiss girl now thinks that I´m a lunatic. I went right to bed after arriving Barcelona. I´m really exhausted and my throat is still sore. We went to dinner at a very swanky restaurant. After dinner we walked down the La Rambla which is a crazy ass strip similar to Time Sq. full of people ...

... what I did. The second day I also walked through a park that ran through the city. It had been a river before and I guess at some point dried out, because there is an incredible park in the shape of a river there now. There are numerous fountains and beautiful greenery throughout. After the park I thought I knew how to get to the beach, but proceeded to get lost for two hours. I stumbled upon a railroad and highway, both with no room for pedestrians. It ...

... can't I be a gay man just for tonight. We continued walking and were almost home when we found a place off of Plaza Catalunya called "City Hall." After a 12 euro cover (even with the free drink, it wasn't worth it) we entered. We paid to check out coats and hit the dance floor...empty dance floor. There were people there, but no one was dancing. Apparently, this does not begin until 130am. Finally, the dance floor began to get crowded...to Progressive music! Who dances to ...
