... it. We then walked up through the shops without Tess it was easier to look. Jayne found a lovely handbag but thought it was too much. There is just enough time for Tapas and something to wash it down and cruise their internet, we also love to people watch and the Spanish when they get going are brilliant, it's like a machine gun!!! Also to decide bike rack or handbag, bike rack or hand bag? ...

Start of with Ola and finish ordering with mercie beaucoup!! Wish everyone spoke the same language, especially here, most speak Spanish. Time for a ...

... look at Besalu, a once important regional town with remnant walls, ramparts and a fantastic fortified medieval bridge. Another sad story of a once thriving Jewish community that fell to persecution. It is now a very relaxed cafe lined place basking in pleasant sunshine, belatedly acknowledging those whose lives were blighted by madder times.

On we went through mountain beauty to Ripoll, a rather ungarnished looking town where we sought lunch. Not ...

... relaxing day with James in Massat where we had some lunch and a beer in Le Globe, where the owner Jean-Pierre looked after JP's vegetarian wishes. Then we visited another cafe called Le Maxil. Very trendy place the owner who has worked in the states loves to speak English. It was a great Bar and really quite modern place - especially for Massat!!! Then the highlight of the day was bumping into some other bikers from holland and Germany who have given me yet another destination to head ...
