    ... and we of course looked around the stores for a while. Alex took his leave of us to have a few beers as us girls marvelled at some amazing local artists’ work and purchased a few treats. I have got some salt water taffy to try later, and I have found a couple of souvenirs I want to buy if I can make the space in my suitcase!

    ... in a Porsche Cayenne. The second lap was very fast. Then our turn in the lambo gallardo. It was really interesting how it handled. A lot of fun. Then back to the mall for lunch. Chilled in the hotel and decided that we couldn't drive to the grand canyon tomorrow due to the dangerous roads. So tried to book a helicopter tour.     ... trip, not to mention about knowing the details of the agenda for each meeting I'm going to attend when I get there. Plus, I was still recovering from the surgery undertaken only 2 weeks ago. My body condition was still weak. My manager and I both worried if I couldn't survive throughout the journey. Turns out, flying was actually okay! My headache from post-surgery didn't get severe because of the flying.

    ... beautiful. Huge and Amazing. The National Monument was so busy with tourists (like us) that it wasn't the same as I remember. When Bob and I were there in late 80's - no one visited and everything was quiet. We could touch the trees and actually walk on the ground. Now there is a boardwalk and you can't get near the trees any more.
    Had Thai food for dinner and now back in room for early start in morning. Don't forget to look at ...
