... your mouth regardless of how much you had and the coconut sauce with strawberries were a perfect flavour match. Everyone then had a taste and we were all delighted. I somehow got the sense that Sam was jealous that he didn't order it himself. The rest of the food was pretty tasty too and eating in bed with a group just seemed so much more fun, I don't know why.

So yesterday or today in Canada, was our 1 month anniversary and it feels like time is flying. Yesterday we wandered through town, ate, relaxed in the sun, watched the sun set, and enjoyed an incredible meal. ... to our surf coach today about Kuta he told us that 90% of the vendors runnng those shops aren't even Balinese and that most Balinese people are embarrassed of Kuta. ... It's really becoming fun…although at times still feeling a bit crazy. But I can get to the countryside easily now, the monkey forest (my favorite place), out to the rice paddies, and around town in a flash. I'm getting some serious exercise (although breathing in some serious exhaust) and feeling great – working off some of that black rice pudding with the coconut cream – and I think i'm getting noticed around town…maybe.
