    ... sunset seen so far in Phuket and greet the Swiss Peter who returns home tomorrow and who offered me a beer, glad to see me because I was gone all day, leaving my clothes and my mat and the beach friend were concerned not seeing me any more.I had dinner in the restaurant next to my hotel and then I allowed myself an oil massage to soften the body burnt by the sun and later I will go chill out for the Saturday night fever.

    ... we came travelling we got some STA cash cards which are supposed to be international MasterCard's and don't charge you foreign exchange fees when paying with the card (But do charge a ATM withdrawal fee). However they have proved useless so far on our trip as they mostly get declined. (Anyone else had this problem?)     ... bay along on a beach called Karon- far more civilised and beautiful with a 3k stretch of beach right on our door step - not too shabby! So the last couple of days have been fairly relaxed getting into a couple of really great books and lapping up the rays- tough life!

    ... Imperial so went in there (very fancy) and the ladies at the reception were incredibly helpful. They organised for the company taxi to come and transfer us for free & they also gave us some pointers on what to visit in Phuket.
