A joke after another, as in Trieste. Then I had a very interesting conversation with Rick, a contemporary American living, lucky him, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was in total agreement with my economic theories and responsibilities of his country in the current crisis.According to him, Barak Obama could do better, but the real disaster was W. Not really knowing what he was trying to offer us, we scratched the cards and to his overly-done amazement, he informed Norma that she had won the top prize! Well done Norma!! The guy got so excited he held up his hand to me for a cool surfer dude type handshake (he did this ...

... to find a cab who would take me to the aquarium for a good price. I can't hire a car anywhere here because you have to be 21, and I'm too scared to go on the motorbikes. So anyway.. First guy I walk past, gives me a good price so we make our way down to the aquarium. He spoke really good English, just telling me all about his life and answering all of my naive Western touristy questions. He ended up coming to the aquarium with me and pointing at all the fish saying 'good for ...
