After Lunch went back ashore but it was Siesta and only the duty free shops were open so purchased our duty frees and just went back to the ship to get ready for dinner. Departed home about 10am and headed off south west towards Spain. A longish day ahead of about 320 kms and the first part of the journey has been done a few times before. Very good plat de jour of beef stew and veal and sausage with chips. Good parking ...

Afterwards we continued to catch up and then parted our ways for bed, as tomorrow we are getting up at 6am! ...

... before we headed underground again. One gorge was unbelievable and there is no way to capture on film. Took over 100 pics and nothing can do this justice. Need arial views from a chopper.

The rivers of snow melt are the most stunning colours of blue and they bubble over the rocks and plough through the gorges. Endless places of rafting and canoe racing here. Looks like an Olympic competition field in places. In ...

    Dinner in Besolu

A travel blog entry by gallopingcookie on Apr 16, 2015

We had a gentle walk (about 40 min) down the hill to Serinya, and caught the 6 pm bus to Besolu. First we went to the miniatures museum, which was amazing. They had all sorts of artwork only visible through a microscope: pictures of Girona cathedral on the head of a pin, a train with 6 carriages worked into the eye of a needle. My favourite was two three masted sailing ships, each the size of a flea.
We then went to get some dinner, but we were a ...
