    ... to be inside a Spanish apartment. Her parents welcomed us with open arms and a kiss on both cheeks. We took loads of selfies and then it was time for dinner, here, dinner is a nine o'clock. Her mom made us sausage, with rice that had tomato sauce and egg on top, a traditional Spanish meal...I just called it breakfast for dinner! Either way, I really enjoyed it! Afterwards we continued to catch up and then parted our ways for bed, as tomorrow we are getting up at 6am! ...

    ... has intermingled with one of the Caminos de Santiago and we had no idea until we passed it. Yesterday it was the old ruins which we saw and decided to investigate and today we sleep with a marker outside the window - mind blowing! So we simply choose to believe we were led. We hadn't planned to come this far east but when I dropped my finger on the map and said 'there' - this is where we land up. Meant to be!

    Dinner in Besolu

    We had a gentle walk (about 40 min) down the hill to Serinya, and caught the 6 pm bus to Besolu. First we went to the miniatures museum, which was amazing. They had all sorts of artwork only visible through a microscope: pictures of Girona cathedral on the head of a pin, a train with 6 carriages worked into the eye of a needle. My favourite was two three masted sailing ships, each the size of a flea.

    For our last day, a bit of everything - jumping, pole bending and a hack out across the fields. Rowan couldn't persuade Jaen to pole bend at all, he kept getting to the end of the poles and then galloping straight back instead of slaloming. Rafa took loads of videos.
    Rafa gave us a lift into Serinya to buy some lunch. On the way, he saw some men digging up the road, so he stopped the car (blocking the entire road) jumped out and negotiated with the men to acquire ...

    This morning Talia requested a jumping lesson and Rowan and I were persuaded to join her. We started by learning the jumping position, up, bum out, up and down. Then we practised going over poles. Fosca was clearly tired from our big adventure, and would trot up to the poles, and then stop and walk delicately over them which made jump position feel a little silly.
    Then Rafa suggested a video of each of us doing a jump, he raised the bar to a massive height - must have been 11 or ...
