Then on 6th we caught a crowded train to Fennway park were we watched the Boston Red Sox take on a team (can't remember their name) The atmosphere there was just amazing. Then we all got a good nights sleep so we would be all full of energy to head Maine where the best week ever was about to ...

... And we had rain just like before in New York. We cooked up salmon, rib eye, corn and pasta with provisions picked up in Erie, PA, and then had big family hugs and a big cry from Amy (who would turn right around and drive back west if given the chance) as we talked about what a great trip it has been. Then we went to sleep in our cozy tent (with a new air mattress that had to be purchased after a slow leak) and slept until 9:00 ...

... application and budget forecast was the state taxes and toll charges. Everything you google for prices, hotels etc, is usually subject to local or state taxes when you're here. So it adds between 10 & 18% to the budget, depending on the state and service you're buying. Maybe a checklist for future USA fellows would be a good idea for some of us to put together after this year. I was sure I'd hit lots of traffic today, but ...
