spent saturday wandering Lukang. It was a crazy day of parades with all of the temples organizing groups dressed in various themes... tons of firecrackers. accomodation is super booked up, so have to move on to Chiayi in the evening as my hostel is booked out for a birthday. The hostel I want in Chiayi is also booked for a wedding so have to stay at another place and switch tomorrow.

They were an awesome class! We had great banter, they responded a lot to things I said or asked, I really enjoyed teaching it! I was also told at the beginning ...

... or Stop! Sorted! So the only thing I need to get used to with driving a scooter as it turns out is driving on the wrong side of the road! (another crazy country with their driving laws all backwards!) - oh and of course I'll just have to adapt to the Taiwanese way of driving/every man for themselves! "Drive defensively" is the main piece of advice the majority of people have offered up thus far once we mention we'll be looking into getting a scooter and getting on the road! Random ...
