... war ich nicht mit Sandalen mit hohen Absätzen unterwegs, wie einige andere. Die Aussicht war dann wirklich genial. Ich hab selten so etwas Schönes wie das gesehen.

... eine eher langweilige Route über die Autobahn durch Tôhoku (Nordost-Japan) vorgeschlagen, wir wollten aber lieber an der Westseite die Küste entlang fahren und auch noch in einem Ort mit einem Tempel, in dem es eine Mumie gibt Halt machen. Also, haben wir erstmal das eingegeben und sind dann auch tatsächlich entlang der Küste geführt worden. Japans Westküste ist wirklich wunderschön.

We headed up the mountain ranges in the west on our last excursion of the trip, toward Yamadera. The local train was packed with students. First it emptied of the younger students, and at the next stop the rest got off, giving us plenty of space.
