... to me for the same train. An unusually helpful woman at the ticket window ( they are usually unhelpful men, in Italy), writes down the times of the trains on which we can carry bikes, and we find we have an extra hour or so to look at the town. It appears that nowadays all Regionale trains carry bike, but only some Regionale Veloce. The only way you can tell which, is at the station. We ride up into the old walled town. Another magnificent walled mediaeval City. ...

All along the coast is built up and it seems to be a continuous city but with lovely house colours that are set off with the blue of the ocean in the background. The litter seems to have gone mostly for now which is great to see. We are in the National Park of Conero and this area is the Riviera of ...

... couple days after that. There was a pool, fresh fruit from the garden, and of course, delicious home cooked Italian meals. It was such a fun and relaxing week and we could not be more grateful to have had this opportunity here in Italy. We have been so lucky and we're not sure why, but hoping it ...
