... EVERYWHERE in Europe has many italian restaurants owned by Italians. Thin crust personal pizza 4 stagioni my fav! Doesn't beat the pizza in italy but was delish. Bars were dark and played strange music but local beer was very nice. I had to try the typical german shnapps which was actually nice as well.
Next stop: Paris, France
... riverboats...it's numerous attractive bridges and it's passing barges is a lively place.. Unfortunately it's popular river crossing cable car attraction, built over 50 years ago does not run in the winter months. It would be a great view of the city also.. (€4.50 well spent too)

... quaint hotel is very close to the train station. No one was at reception when we arrived, so we had to ring an intercom. John turned to me and asked what time they opened....pretty funny. We were let in remotely, and our key was on the reception desk....very odd.
