Fri Oct 24 Staying with the family. Woke up this morning feeling horrid so opted to spend the day in bed. Rob is fine so he headed off for some sightseeing, into Nuremburg and the to Gabbys parents for lunch. I got up about 3pm, felt a bit better but didn't last long. Back into bed at 8pm. Rob went to a soccer match in the evening, Furth against Frankfurt, with the boys, their team didn't win unfortunately :(, but they all had a few beers and a great time ...

... hour, a bit bumpy landing but otherwise ok. On arrival we were greeted by Gabby, Gerhart and Gabby's parents. We all jumped in their people mover and headed 20 mins to their village where we met the rest of the family, I think I counted 12. Friendly bunch all talking in German and me doing lots of nodding. Our river boat meets us in the city of Nuremburg, famous for the Nuremburg trials of war criminals after WW2.
