This villa is absolutely amazing with the nicest hosts you'll find. We pass by a few, and none of them were as nice. they even have access to a beautiful private beach in case you want to avoid the messiness of the other public ones. ... to get on – it’s funny to watch old people elbow their way onto a bus. We decided there wasn’t much point pushing our way through the crowd as it was a school day and there was another SITA bus coming right behind this one. We joked with the Victoria couple about Canadians being too polite and the next bus showed up half full so there was lots of room and no one had to stand. Another windy trip ...

We left the island shortly after, we were both really bummed out that we didn't get to go in the grotto. For those of you that do not know about this, it is a small cave entrance that you enter by a small row boat. When you get inside it is a bigger area that is all limestone, bottom and surrounding, which makes the walls illuminated with blue. We missed out, just another reason to return.

We woke up to a cloudy and rainy day. We had a great breakfast (fresh pastries, orange juice and cappuchino) at the hotel which was included in the cost of the room, which by the way was 60€ per night. This is a good rate for the Amalfi Coast and the distance didn't matter because there were buses and a shuttle. We decided to spend the day in Amalfi to wander and check out places that would be good for wedding photos. There were tons of shops with lemoncello, coral ...

... from the city centre to Fico D’India (our hotel) cost us 34.50euro for 6kms of travel. This place has some windy roads.
