... s, crazy parking (we never parked on a corner or double parked so we are clearly not locals!) snowy mountain roads and everything in between. The first part of the journey was on the motorway, still passing mile after mile of vineyards, occasionally there were some large stables with lots of horses in paddocks. After leaving the motorway the road to the lake was slow and ...

... And they got paid, too.

We happily returned to the hotel to pack and go. But there was one final sting in the tale.

Whilst the GLW was sorting things out in Red in the hotel car park, a large black BMW parked alongside made a dreadful hash of reversing out of its space, and managed to scrape along the back of Red.
