We ate so many we actually got, what we called, chestnut cramps; a painful cramp in the stomach resultant of too many chestnuts in too short a period of time. We split into two groups at one point and had a hitchhiking race, which I have to admit, Michael and I failed miserably. For punishment we had to buy Rachel and Steve a three course meal from a grocery store. Might I add, it was pretty ...

There were about a dozen others of our tour getting the transfer and to our dismay they were all much, much older than us!! Oh Lordy - a "blue rinse set" trip comin up! Two of them had unfortunately not read their info properly and had missed the earlier transfer and they got stuck into Sally, our Tour Director, in no short order! Totally unnecessary and not a good way to start our tour!
          So with ...

On the bus to Lagura Switzerland, free time for coffee and shopping in the markets. Weather is very cold here. We took the bus to the cable car up the mountain called Monte Tamaro. Beautiful views on the way up of the valley below, snow on the alps here. We had a set lunch menu and a walk around at the top, threw ...
