I was really overdue my holidays, finally getting to take it in October and I just signed up to two weeks of not doing much in Turkey with a couple of friends in a group. For me though not doing much isn't my cup of tea so I took every chance to re-live my old Turkey memories, from food, sights, sea, dancing and ahem, yes the men, again :)
Please come back soon as I update all the stories from the two weeks. Thanks.
... The ticket clerk told him that Olympic airlines had informed us by e-mail of the changes. We later discovered that this was while we were actually travelling!
As a result we had to re-organise ourselves to get the ferry from Piraeus, an hour’s bus drive from the airport. We got there at about 08.00 and our ferry left at 19.00 so we decided to find a hotel and rent a room for the day.
In any port, it is common practice for people to rent a ...

The small bus, called a Dolmus bus picked me up in front of the hotel. People were cramped into the bus with only 11 seats - many were standing crookedly towards the back. Was that a rooster?? Yes, there was a rooster in a cage on the bus! The bus sped off - the driver only had his foot on the accelerator, honking instead of breaking. Phew, I survived the trip to downtown Bodrum. Fun and interesting ride.
The streets were narrow with lots of small ...
... and listened to Turkish trance music while smoking our first hookah (Apple flavored). We shared funny travel stories and discussed the "Ladder Theory." This is an apparently well known theory about the difference between men and women when they look at friends versus relationships. İf you are interested in more details, google it or go to Dave the Austrailian bartenders facebook. Evan and Matt learned a lot about girls from us and we gave them all kinds of valuable relationship ...

... the most pleasant part of the whole thing. A dismissive pat and you're back in the shower. After this, you leave the steam room and get cocooned in towels to cool off with some water in the salon. Final step is the massage, where copious amounts of baby oil are used by the same Turk, who, you find out, has incredibly strong hands. You get a nice oily feeling the rest of the day!
