          The second day with the car was shopping day. We had planned to do some serious shopping here because:

          • You can buy things unavailable in Turkey, such as bacon :-)

          ... so air con not on warp factor 10 as we went to bed.

          Tue 11th Aug.....T minus 10 days to go ........Up and cup of tea on the patio and looking at our little garden to decide what things need chopping back, replanting etc before we come home. More cups of tea before showering and dressed. This morning we made a trip to the hospitaI in Lefkosia to get a small spot on Johns back checked out.           ... them. A very interesting couple of hours. Home and it was straight to the pool for an evening dip to cool off, then home to pick some tomatoes from our plants, shower and relax on the balcony with Mrs Fox and Mrs Cat! Enjoyed a brandy sour and some nibbles before supper which is the dolma selection that our turkish neighbours bought across and firindi patates tavuk....which is chicken and roast potatoes. Pud is ekmek kadyefe with ice cream, followed by a cup of tea and then book and bed!

          ... Sun.....bit girly but ok. Just after 5pm we decided to venture back to the pool for a while, John pushed out 30 lengths whilst Sarah just sat on the pool steps nodding off. Swimming completed Sarah prepared the chicken tika to go on the bbq, along with salad and minty yoghurt dip.           ... it was time for bed after a busy day!

          Sun 5th July - Awake at just after 7am and normal routine starts. No breakfast for me as still full from last nights supper. We decided to get rid of Sarahs old laptop which has been getting very slow over the last year or so. Spent a little time surfing you tube and getting a guide on how to erase the data on the hard drive. Managed to get that started and will take a few hours then it should be safe to get rid of once done. Sat on ...
