Excellent no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel was clean and the staff could not do enough for us to make our stay really smashing. They were not intrusive into our privacy and yet gave us superb service. The laundry service was unbelievable - same day turn around and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Erkan and his staff should be very proud of their hotal, lovely.

A courtesy bus was laid on to and from the airport, and car hire was easily arranged.

A friendly, family run hotel in North Cyprus

Having just returned from a holiday in North Cyprus at the Hotel Sempati, I find it difficult to believe the problems that one of the reviews show. The family and staff at the hotel do all they can to make your holiday comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. Will certainly return again.

Breathtaking!

Wonderful hospitality, the fact it is family run makes it oh so better. Food has improved this year as opposed to other years, and the service has not slipped. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant weather - what more can one say?

Did not live up to expectations

I was full of high expectations having read the reviews but now wonder whether Erkan wrote them himself!!

I e-mailed Erkan twice to ensure that we had interconnecting rooms with a third bed in the room as this was important to me with three children.

He assured me this had been booked, so imagine my disappointment when we were given rooms at the opposite ends of the corridor. We were told it was only for one night.

The next morning there was a different chap at reception he told us there were no interconnecting rooms available! I stayed in the reception all morning waiting for Erkan I was told he would be there at 10:30 ; then at 12:30 and then 14:30, he was an elusive character!!! We then went for lunch by the time we came back the room had been changed but no sign of Erkan or an apology.(Talking to other peope we were not the only ones!!)

The next morning I went to enquire about a hire car ,I had e-mailed Erkan about this. They said it would take a day to organise. They gave me no choice of car or price, but I knew the average price was £20.

The next morning the car was not ready , they kept asking me to come back . Evantually they presented with a ford fiesta for £25.

I explained about the e-mail and the prices but there was no budging in the end I refused the car and called Green rent a car from my room, they came immediatley to the hotel with a brand new ford fiesta for £20!

Great Value for Money

This was the second time I had visited Northern Cyprus with my wife and son. I made my booking directly with Erkan at the hotel and he arranged our flights for us as well. I can not fault the level of service and hospitality we received from the moment we were picked up at the airport to the moment we left. The Hotel has an excellent restaurant and pool. The rooms are clean and well kept. we made many new friends here and would certainly come back. Speaking to other guests it was surprising to see that many had returned to this hotel year after year.

Great location for visiting other areas of Northern Cyprus and ther are also many restaurants within easy walking distance. Car hire rates from the hotel are also very favourable with good quality vehicles.

Recommended this hotel and were not disappointed. Erkan and all his staff could not have been friendlier, nothing too much trouble. Lovely pool area, all rooms face onto pool.Would highly recommend it.

Not just a hotel

I have just returned from my 4th visit to Hotel Sempati and have to say that once again we have been made to feel extremely welcome.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable, food plentiful and all the staff are most helpful and friendly. Not only that but Erkan and his family make you feel as though you are part of their family.

The hotel has a very nice swimming pool area and is located just a short walk from the sea and there are several restaurants within walking distance. It is in a quiet area away from Girne yet ideally situated for exploring the TRNC. There are some marvellous walks and car journeys where you can enjoy spectacular views from up in the hills and forests.

We go there time and time again!

This is a cracking hotel and I am surprised that there are so few reviews if it on the net. To say too much would be to spoil the magic that is Northern Cyprus. Save to say that this hotel is perfectly placed for an enjoyable stay on the island. There is no doubt that it is 'budget' priced, but the standard of the rooms and facilities are excellent value for money, moreover, the attentive service and helpful advice is priceless. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and at different times of the year. I have also confidently recommended Hotel Sempati to friends, all of whom appear to share our enthusiasm.
