Celle was a town that was founded in the early Renaissance. It is probably much older, but the Alstadt (the "old town", in Germany, usually a pedestrian area these days) had 1520-something painted on its oldest building. It is pronounced "tz-ell-uh". It was a town we chose to stay at because we were able to get to it by rail and it had busses to Bergen, and Bergen had a bus to Bergen-Belson Concentration Camp. ... Karsten! Anschließend haben wir das Celler Schloss besucht, sehr eindrucksvoll. Felix hat dann in zusammenarbeit mit Theo noch die Schlossenten mit Bio Ernie und Bert Keksen gefüttert! Beim Abendessen hat sich dann noch Besuch in Form einer Wüstenspringmaus eingestellt, die wirklich sehr süß war. Vielleicht zieht sie ja jetzt bei Karsten, Ilka, Felix und Theo auf die Veranda.
