... stairs behind me and decided to take the risk, no way I wanted to tackle those stairs with my bag and I wasn’t feeling particularly well. I thought “At least if I get stuck, I can nap until someone sets me free.” I fantasized about snoozing in the elevator, head on my bag, and snapped to as the door began to close... on me.
Got to my room. Opened the door and was greeted with a stench of cigarettes, and something ...
... br>Warren's German includes phrases such as "Ich liebe dich" (I love you), "Danke" (Thank you), and... "Ich liebe meine gute Lederhosen" (I love my good leather pants)**... which he figured out how to say all on his own.
Overall our time in Graz was so relaxing. We kind of just went around at a slow pace, and didn't feel like we needed to rush to see a bunch of touristy attractions (like in some other cities). But, we still did a ...
... the Kunsthaus Graz which apparently is referred to as the "friendly alien". It looked out of place for a really futuristic building to be in such an old area, but still neat to see all the same.
I had been wanting to try the roasted chestnuts for awhile as well so we grabbed some from the man selling them outside and ate them over the bridge-it was very chilly outside so the warm chestnuts were a perfect touch to the evening. We walked along ...
We drove west from Vienna towards tomorrow's destination and consulted the GPS and Lonely Planet guide to find a good place to stop in between. We ended up here, in Bruck an der Mur, an adorable and charming small town in Austria. We all loved it as soon as we got to the centre, where the hotel we were seeking out is located. However, it was full, and the reception there told us we could get a much better rate than the other LP-recommended hotel if ...

The next day i got up "early", which means 7; I didnot get up before 10 for some weeks, so it was hard work to open my eyes.. After 2 strong coffees and cereals i checked out ...

After breakfast we take a shower and wait for the rain stops. It never happens, so finally at midday we decide taking our useless umbrellas and go to do some sightseeing. It's not very convenient touring around carrying an umbrella, bags and the camera, but we have no choice if we want to see ...

... working, instead of, sitting and drinking beer with 5 girls.. So, the whole plan had to be changed, instead of meeting other CS, i joined them and he showed me the main parts of the city.. Zagreb is nice, quite compareable to Graz.. Just girls are much more cute here :)
We arrived in Tomis flat some time ago, now cooking dinner and have some beers in 10-people-CS-community is planned..

... Turning onto the road the Gps told us we were only 2kms from the campsite!!!Feeling lucky we walked back to the campsite passing little homes with their vegie patches being tended by ladies. What was amazing too was that so many people young and old rode pushbikes including very old women doing the shopping. Back at camp I tested my element with a cup of tea made by boiling the water and was chuffed as this would both save gas and give me an extra element to cook with ...
Graz, Styria, Austria kasnsqueak... We cleaned up a little and walked with Ingrid to meet up with Aunt Resi, Traude, Martina, and Reinhard. We were also joined by Evi, Franz & Christoff for 3 types of homemade cakes, drinks and wonderful conversation. Later we met up at the Wine Tent with Harald & Elizabeth, and also ran into Rudy Wuits and his wife! Small world. The tent was crowded and had music and lots of wine and food. There were lots of ...
