... that were really remote. Then at lunch they bought out the wine and it all went downhill from there. We ended up meeting this couple from Brighton uni who were really fun and getting a bit rowdy with our noodles. Oh and I learnt to jump and dive off the boat woo. The open air cinema was pretty cool. We saw the terminator which was lol, I wouldn't recommend but it was a cool thing to do. They had little stone tables and the chairs were cute so yeah it was nice. All the food has been ...

    The final bit

... Express, a ferry ship whose misguided approach of the bay cost 83 lives 15 years ago. Another option was to go to the shore by dinghy, walk to Naoussa, rent a motor bike and go inform the Yacht services in person. But I felt I could not leave the boat behind and the next rental would probably be a long walk away. We could also ask one of the other boats around us, but then how could they help. Ideas came and went. I thought I should do this more often. The morning ...

We traversed north, tacking from 330 to 40 deg a few times and after a few hours reached a bay at the final reach of the Naxos side. We decided to stop, have lunch and a deserved dip in the chill water (we clearly were farther north now). It felt like 2 pm, but when G and I put the dinghy in the water to get an ice cream from the lively nearby beach, it was already past ...

... a wonderful couple with whom we have really enjoyed hanging out. Brian and Manne immediately connected as Manne is not only a windsurfer and kiter but he is a do-it-yourself kind of guy. In fact, Manne and Anette built a Tiki 30 catamaran. In true German fashion they were able to confidently and I am sure accurately tell us that they spent 1500 hours building it. When Anette said she liked working with the jigsaw, I understood that she was hard core ...

Island hopping our way here, we finally arrived on the island of Paros. We had booked a place sometime back in January, thinking that we would like to stay put in one place for the last month of our trip. After a 5:15 a.m. departure and a 5 hour ferry trip, we were met at the dock by Pipina, the manager of Paros Paradise Apartments. The hours of searching, discussing and fretting about the perfect place we'd want to stay paid off. There is ...
