... accurately, alleys, twist & turn every 10 m apparently to fool the pirates. It was quite windy & coolish so we returned to the waterfront & had another drink & a plate of the best fried squid that we have ever tasted. Luckily for us the wi-fi worked well so we all caught up on correspondence etc.

At about 6.30 we returned to the ship & were in bed by about 9pm after a pretty lazy ...

... bar manager. He gave us our welcome cocktail and sat us down near the pool. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly, introducing themselves and making us feel really welcome.
We were pretty hungry at this point so we asked Anna to suggest some restaurants to try during our stay in Mykonos. We knew Greece was known so their incredibly fresh seafood so she recommended a place called Kounelas.

... free sunbeds and an umbrella if we bought a drink each. We ordered 2 pina coladas and it cost nearly 30 euros! The next drinks were half the price, so we'd paid for the umbrella anyway! Never mind, we spent some very pleasant hours sitting and swimming. The water was quite cool - the coolest we've experienced in Greece so far - but very refreshing.

... a I found a convenience store selling fruit ciders. We had a late lunch - early dinner at place called Marco Polo. Back to hotel for a swim in pool but did not linger long as wind still strong and making temperature only 24 degrees. We walked uphill to catch the sunset around 8.30pm with a lot of stunning photos taken with a little church in the Foreground. Finally a night where we don't set the alarm. Here's hoping we wake to a day of no wind so we can explore the island ...
