... close to the marina that has music coming from it. I ate a lamb dish for dinner and since the Greeks eat dinner very late in the day and will frequently make an evening of it, it wasn't until close to 11 PM that we left the taverna.
I went back to the yacht to dress in my club clothes and to go to one of the few dance clubs that remained open over the winter. Although it wasn’t packed, the club was still a lot of fun and we had a great time.
It’s a little cool outside for a party island that is famous for its nude beaches and all-night dance clubs. This is the first time that I wished we were visiting Greece during the tourist season since the town almost feels empty and the beaches deserted.

... and 35 and 40." It very well could be the vacation and the cruise-effect but I really do feel like I'm a little more zen about all things life and stress-related.
Plus I've decided 2012 is legit. Maybe not 2012 exactly, but for sure the idea that we are here and then we're gone. You can't not realize and appreciate that fact walking around all of these antiquities. You don't get to plan for the end, or for the demise of a 'people'. If you could, all these ...
this trip was very special to me,because it was the first one after I finally finished with school and had the freedom to do everything I want, without anybody else controlling me!the only thing I wanted to do is find a nice place with great people to relax and so I did.i met many interesting people and it was a journey to remember!

There was a mandatory lifeboat drill just before departure and we sailed out of Piraeus harbour at five in the afternoon.
Our first meal in the main dining room (La Fontein) was excellent and the dining room is ...
... meter's weren't running by the minute.
As is custom for us, we found a local bottleshop and purchased a local bottle of wine, with grapes grown in Greece.
We returned to the marina area and then made our way to the area of the island called "Little Venice". Here the most western part of the town meets the sea. Buildings are constructed right at the sea's edge with their balconies overhanging the ...
... there was just no way I was stsying there one more day.
Nice beaches, very friendly/nice people and I loved the mode of transportation - scooters and 4-wheelers. I rented the 4-wheeler. A very fun way to explore the island and its many beaches. The best chocolate croissants are in the middle of the island. They believe in fresh and very cold ...
... for dessert. We had interesting table mates from Washington, DC, Florida and New York. Talk seemed to center on why would anyone live in Minot, North Dakota, New York Musicals and the horrors of Coop boards. I should mention some good news - my cold is over - and bad news - Andy has it now. Since he had run out of kleenex, we went back to the room where he could finish off my cold medicine. Hopefully the drugs will help him like they did me.
Mykonos Town, Cyclades, Greece pathfinder35We head off to check out the Cyclades islands. Our first choice is clearly a summer tourist attraction as the island feels like a ghost town. This doesn't stop us from exploring some of the beaches. The island buildings are quite beautiful, though the islanders are a little grumpy. Our stay is marked by the presence of animals: to wit, Fiona is attacked by a Donkey, we were followed for about an hour by four stray cats, and we run into some huge pelicans on the docks.
Mykonos, Greece fisebHow on Earth did I get to be so lucky?
My family and I went on a cruise of the Greek Islands. We ate a lot, got sea sick once, soaked up the sun, and absorbed the classically beautiful white and blue colours on the islands. There weren't very much ship activities that my sister and I were interested in but Allyson and I did win a bingo game! Mykonos was by far our favorite island because of its beauty.
