Woke up this morning in the nice hotel to set of for the jungle! Yay! Had to be up and ready to leave by 8:15. We got in the mini van which our guide brought especially for this tour, he was going to use the money for his own investment into a pension project but invested in the mini vans as an investment for the animals conservation projects and the conservation project will hopefully pay him back. We took the bus towards the port. ...

Although many of the animals were now in quite large cages and really taken care of they were still not in for star accommodation. The centre and ...

After breakfast we put on our walking boots again and went for another trek along the Pasir Antu Laut trail. Passing through small streams and clambering over and around huge boulders we eventually arrived at the most beautiful secluded beach at Antu Laut. A tough climb back up we headed back to camp along the main Turtle beach where the rainforest runs right down to ...

Another day, another adventure and it's my birthday! After an early breakfast we were picked up by mini van for our journey to Tanjung Datu national park. After about 2 hours drive we arrived at Semantan, a small coastal town and where we would get a boat to take us to the national park. The sea is looking very choppy and there's no sign of our boat and guide so off we go to get a drink and to explore. We find the local food market and take photos of the fish and fruits and then have ...
