Wednesday 28 January – An early start at 6:30am to get organised for our visit to Langkawi. As we were readying ourselves, we were coming alongside in Langkawi with the breaking dawn – a very peaceful view. The day is fine, about 28 degrees, but the humidity is relatively low.

Koh Lipe is definitely a tropical paradise. Its home to only a few hundred inhabitants. The island isn't that touristic compared to other islands in Thailand. ... Having enjoyed the relaxing experience of the cable car we decided to mix it up a bit and hike up to a waterfall in flip flops. This was well worth the risk of breaking an ankle as we were rewarded with a cooling plunge pool.
