Under two weeks to go and then two weeks away in France again. The plan is to find a campsite at Compiegne for the first night. Suzie and Simon have spoken frequently of how lovely it is. We will then divide the rest of the journey into three sections and stay at aires for the two nights before we reach Alet-les-Bains. We have booked into the campsite Val d'Aleth for Christmas.

So we arrived as directed, to collect the Adria Flash at 14.00. There followed a one hour talk on how it worked and what we should and shouldn't do.
Back to home to collect clothes and bedding and food and then on the road towards the ferry. It's remarkably easy to drive, even though its almost 7m long. After 5 metres, we had to re-organise to stop the rattling and movement of things that were stored.
The road was relatively clear - most people would have been on the road hours ago ...
