    ... I can best liken it to Phuket but with Europeans not Thai's. The bustling thronging crowds, the vehicles - bus, cars, quads, scooters everywhere - and it goes all day and all night. In fact it's worse at night. Our accommodation in the heart of this but is an oasis. Next fact - it's hot day and night, cloudless, but fortunately lowish humidity.     ... pool (and pool bar), a good location into the town of Fira, and the most adorable, friendly, welcoming hostel owners you will ever meet. They also offered breakfast (at an extra cost) which we ended up taking advantage of daily as their toast, greek yogurt and honey, and pancakes were insanely delicious...we could not pull ourselves away.
