    ... to a huge shopping and dining complex called Canal City. The complex is comprised of the Grand Hyatt Hotel that is surrounded by 4 levels of shops in 3 buildings. In the centre area there is a huge fountain that displays a music and water art show every hour. It was quite spectacular and entertaining to watch.     ... and art pieces are on show inside. We also ran into another couple celebrating their marriage and they allowed us to take a photo of them. The bride was wearing a beautiful kimono.

    We finished off, what was a long day, by riding the loop bus around the town before getting the tram (trolley car) back to our stop and walking back to our hotel.

    Hope the sun keeps shining. We had our jumpers off for the first time in weeks!

    ... Takako. She started walking off but no one followed. We just cracked up laughing. In the end, Annabel and Leigh, the English couple went. They did enjoy it but I guess, eel is not really on the Australian palate whereas the English do eat smoked eel. This one was grilled.

    ... blag my way in, taking advantage of the Japanese strange desire to be helpful at all times. It's a glorious day. Hot and dry. A bit cloudy but not humid which is incredible! I walk a different way so I dint have to battle the giant insects that hover over the bridges. I tried swatting them away with my brolly (yes. I know have a brolly. I've never ever used on at home.
