... that happened......just under 8 miles done in two hours and 40 minutes or so. We missed Johnna today. It just isn't the same when the whole gang isn't there but we enjoyed the weather and the trail. It was really nice to be on a dirt path today. The past couple of walks we have done have been on the city trail system which is nice in many ways but the cement pavement ...

Not much to say about this one but another great day out.

We started with breakfast at 'Snooze' - oodles of pancakes and nice coffee and spent the rest of the day getting fried at the mini water park in Fort Collins. It wasn't that sunny when we got there so wasn't too busy. The sun came out strongly later on though and we didn't reapply ...

Not long after entering the park, we saw mountain goats along the side of the road. From there we climbed to the Alpine visitors centre which was just under 12000 ft high. It was ...

    ... to the East.

Our dog Hagrid loves to hike and gets so excited for our morning family outing. I sometimes think the most exciting part of his day is when Lesley gets out of bed so we can start getting ready for our walk. We have been trying to get an early start because it has been so hot here. We have reached 100 Fahrenheit several days in a row now. Lesley is loving it.
