Vivere in queste zone non dev'essere facile, dicevo...ma Ottavio, la mia guida, e' sicuramente uno che ce l'ha fatta. Mi ha raccontato, mentre lasciavamo l'imbarcadero e ci addentravamo in un braccio di collegamento al Delta, di aver lavorato due anni in un ristorante a Udine per mettere da parte i soldi e mettere in piedi il businness del campeggio e della barca.

... po' di spesa. Non mi sono trattenuto piu' dello stretto necessario, pero': forse per lo scooter, o per la mia giacca a vento colorata, ma facevo un evidente contrasto con i locali, con i loro vestiti dai colori spenti e polverosi e gli sguardi a volte vacui, a volte indagatori, con cui tutti mi fissavano come fossi un extraterrestre.
Non deve essere facile vivere in queste zone, nonstante il flusso di turisti che deve arrivare d'estate, attirato dalle meraviglie del Delta.
