... guy and his mate were a bit dodgy, and then it all made sense when he told me he was a car sales man. this time since i got there so fast (160 km/hr) i figured i would splerge and pay for a taxi into town so i could find a place before dark.
after scoping out a few places i decided on staying at ninova pension in the old part of town. negotiated 70TL for two nights including breakfast. hopefully i will hear back from ...
... Med, once again.
We toured the ruins, I stuck my toe into the Med, and then retreated back for a little siesta. We had a time change last night, and kinda screwed my clock up.
We plan on staying here 2 nights, then on to Kas.

... of whatever you are giving your attention to, you, in a sense, tune your vibrational tuner to more positive aspects of everything. And, of course, you could tune yourself negatively as well. But as you are deliberately looking for positive aspects in yourself or in others, you will find more of those things: "The better it gets, the better it gets," for you get more and more of what you are thinking about —whether you want it or not.”

... up the hill for a good view out over the water with Catherine and Jennifer and then hung out. From there we took the boat past the "Sunken City," an old Greek city that is now for the most part under water, though to be honest it wasn't nearly as impressive as in the post cards... It never is...haha. The sunken city is protected so you aren't allowed to stop there or swim. It all went by pretty quickly.
Our major hang out spot for the day was a secluded little bay that was ...
... Anyhow, after I paid my entrance fee, the walk to the beach was about 10 minutes long. It was a nice walk as you pass by these small ruins along the way. It is the ruins that they justify the 3 Lira charge. But if you show up at the entrance the next day with the previous day's ticket, they still tell you to pay 3 liras. Who would pay to see the same thing twice? The guy at the kiosk basically said "Too bad. So Sad." One thing that occurred to me was that this was ...
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey dinovagabond... trees whilst ice cold beer is brought to you with a smile. The most you do is maybe read a book, or at least just try and remember to breath. At night out come the shishas, and you exercise your now jelly-like mind by playing a few rounds of backgammon. Keyif!
Olympos, Turkey nickyates... of Olympos were subtle, the setting was sublime. The only downside to the park was the throngs of tourists clogging the forest path and taking up valuable beach real estate. The beach itself was pebbled, which suited me fine as I hate sand. When I came back around 6pm, I met my two roommates - one was a German Turk whose name I never quite understood, and the other was a friendly guy from Istanbul named Aslan, which means "lion" in Turkish (naturally, all I ...
