    ... the 'Plus’ we seem to have a deluxe room with separate lounge and huge bed and balcony and great view. It is nice to get the good stuff some times. Dinner here (which is included) also received an A+, Only negative is that we are really close to a mosque and so will be awaken at 8 am by the call for prayer. I like the Italian church bells better - but when in Rome.....

    They bring in a guy and make him walk a straight line, tiny steps one in front of the other. "He Bira trinken", says a cop. We leave before we find out his fate. I've been riding so long I'm not sure if I could walk the line!

    The road up to the Rivera Restaurant is appalling. It snakes up the mountain, all hairpins, ruts and loose gravel. It is not much fun going back down in the dark but we make it.
