I'm planning my travels and going to ensure I get the best prices

I've volunteered to help at the London Comedy Film Festival in January. I am very excited about this opportunity, more excited then I've been in a while. And I'm going to keep my eyes open for a few more of these opportunities! Who knows what I might get to be a part of in 2015. One can only jump forward and take a leap of faith :)

We said yes and so this morning went with them into the town and went for a ride.

The horses were Hungarian war horses and apparently there are only around 450 ...

... were only about $10 so it was a good one to miss. I booked one for early afternoon so I was able to go back to sleep for a bit longer until check out.

I eventually got my act together and packed my bag to head downstairs and check out. I took the tram into the bus station in town and had a look around for some food. I found a McDonald's and chilled out there until it was time for the bus. The bus was actually much more luxurious than the Busabout buses, so I wasn't ...

... but as Salzburg is located close to the border it was a short 1 hour drive away. The countryside we drove through was very green and scenic, and it was here that the film "The Sound of Music" was filmed, which was probably why we could see tour buses with Maria's face plastered all over it.

We stopped briefly to drop off some people who were doing at our of the salt mines (which we opted out of), and after a long winding drive up the side of the ...
