          ... water. The boats on the lake are all electric to preserve the cleanliness and peacefulness of the area. At one point on the trip the guide gets his trumpet out, and plays a tune next to the cliffside called the Echowand, and depending on the weather the notes echo one or two times - all very funky ...

          ... found a different path near the gorge, climbing bridge rails etc etc to get some decent photos.

          Still alive, we traveled back to Salzburg slowly, walked the river by night and checked out the cathedral all while consuming pumpkin soup, chocolate, apple strudel and coffee.

          ... out of him at one stage.... even though he reckoned he didn't know the lyrics :) It was a fun tour - Wends and Lisa - you would have loved it ! and I'm sure you would have done yourselves proud during the sing-a-long bits - we were thinking about you :) Hope some of you die hard Julie Andrews fans recognise a few of the locations in the photos.... enjoy.... I'm off to watch the film again to spot some of the shots :) ...

          ... between the mountain and the Salzac river. Inside, the museum houses an excellent selection of weaponry and relics from the prince-archbishop era. Had a meal with Siobhan at an al fresco restaurant looking out over the town. Great sense of the town. Hen headed into the square adjacent to th cathedral to watch La Traviata on the big screen, amazing production which was filmed a few years ago at the Salzburger Festpiele. In the end it got too cold so we left early to go backt the ...

          ... the English speaking people. It was me and about 20 Canadians but oh well! The actual deal was that heats and whatever had already been run and so this was the quarter finals onwards. The event kicked off with all 8 guys skiing down the chute straight after each other and just having some fun on the course. Then the competition started and its a lot like surfing really. They are in pairs and each skier gets two goes at the course in each round. They get scored by ...
