Guest stars such as Romy Schneider stayed at the hotel during the preview of one of her films. Our room was spacious with quaint furniture and the breakfast was execellent. People of all ages were dressed up, some with colourful hats decorated with long feathers.     ... headed out of town and came across the house that was used for the back of Captain Von Trapp's house which was surrounded by a quiet lake and plenty of weeping willows.     Then onto Hitler's holiday house, Eagle Nest, high in the mountains. It was absolutely wonderful and the view was incredible. Hitler didn't actually like the place much so there wasn't heaps of history but the 360 views were amazing and I did a little exploring in the rocks. Not too cold as I was still in shorts, but very pleasant.
