Took a ride down the Salzach River yesterday as well, and the boat guy showed us Hotel Sacher Salzburg (part of the famous one in Vienna), and so it goes that royalty stays there, as well as has been host to famous movie stars.     ... High and by the end of the day, the students were wearing their US shirts!! After the classroom visits we met with the principals of KuMax, Maria Ward and Cleveland High School! It was lovely! We discussed formal things about the GAPP exchange and had some coffee and cake. The evening was spent at a student performance at Maria Ward Realschule.     ... wet.  It was quite refreshing considering it was 30 degrees or so!!   We then headed back into town for a wander through the old town (in search of a pub to watch athletics at - but failed miserably) before heading home.  We got an early night at had a long drive to Venice the next day.     ... We decided we were definitely having pretzels for lunch until we came across a seafood restaurant or deli called Nordsee. That place was wall-to-wall with fresh, glistening seafood of all kinds. On the spot, Dale selected a shrimp and egg baguette that he planned to devour later.

    That morning, we also checked out the Salzburg salt store where I bought flavored salt for Mom and myself.
